Many breeders from Europe, America, Canada, South Africa and, of course, from Russia took part in the great anniversary of the great breed - Bernese Mountain dog. This festival was celebrated in Swiss town of Burgdorf. Everybody was pleasantly surprised by the picturesque place chosen for this occasion and the friendly atmosphere.

The parish of a village church, being under reconstruction in Podolsk region, celebrated Pancake week - an anciant traditional Russian holiday. One of the attributes of this holiday is a "troika" (three horses harnessedabreast) driving a sledge. As we had no horses, we made troika of our berners. There were also funny competitions, a self-made ice-run and swing, traditional soldier kasha (boiled buckwheat and meat) made by soldiers from a local military unit and lots of other interesting things. Our puppies from Dea Ferax iz Bolshogo Doma and Aeneas von Vindonissa celebrated their first birthday. Happy birthday! Four puppies with their owners were glad to meet. Aeneas, Krasotka, little Dantes and their owner were on TV in "TV Women's Club" (live broadcast). They were telling about Bernese mountain dogs and answering phone calls within 45 minutes.

Two shows took place in Bulgaria, in Pazardgik and Sofia. Aeneas von Vindonissa got CAC, CACIB, BOB. Chernookaya Krasotka iz Bolshogo Doma got 2 CAC, 2 CACIB. The both dogs became Champions of Bulgaria, of the Balkans and Sofia.

Before the shows in Bulgaria our champions had a few day holiday and they walked along the seashore.

Now Aeneas has 7 CACIB and is Champion of 6 countries. Krasotka has 4 CACIB and is Champion of 3 countries.

Regional Dog Show "Olimpus" took place in Moscow, where Chernookaya Krasotka iz Bolshogo Doma got titles CAC, Best Bitch, BOB (judge T. Sarmont). We congratulate Krasotka on her first success!

At the same show English bulldog Pyshechka iz Bolshogo Doma got titles CAC, BB, BOB, too. Pyshechka got her 5th CAC, so getting title of Champion of Russia is not far now.

We also congratulate Zennenhund Rossii Cleopatra (Aeneas von Vindonissa's daughter) on getting Junior CAC. She got Junior CAC and became Best Junior on the 26th of March.
